WHAT WE DO

PROTECTED LANDS

NEWS GET INVOLVED ABOUT US CONTACT
Working for 26 years to preserve and promote the natural, recreational, and scenic character and the traditional land uses of the Medomak River watershed for the benefit of the Medomak Valley and Muscongus Bay community.

The Medomak Valley Land Trust works with landowners to protect land in 13 towns throughout the Medomak River watershed.

Since 1991, MVLT has permanently protected over 4,000 acres in the watershed. Our conserved properties represent much of the natural diversity of the area, and include forests, farms, blueberry fields, wetlands, scenic vistas, and lake and river frontage. These lands are managed to protect wildlife habitat while also providing opportunities for low-impact recreation and traditional uses.
