The Medomak Valley Land Trust works with landowners to protect land in 13 towns throughout the Medomak River watershed.
1991, MVLT has permanently protected over 4,000 acres in the watershed.
Our conserved properties represent much of the natural diversity of the
area, and include forests, farms, blueberry fields, wetlands, scenic
vistas, and lake and river frontage. These lands are managed to protect
wildlife habitat while also providing opportunities for low-impact
recreation and traditional uses.
